Voting Story Submissions
For Americans who are blind or have low vision, the right to vote independently has been hard fought and evolved over the last five plus decades. The fight for accessible voting is far from over, even though in many places in the country, huge advances have been achieved. ACB is actively working to secure the voting rights of people who are blind and visually impaired. This November, the ACB Voices blog is spotlighting the voting experiences of our members. Whether in person or mail-in, please let us know about your journey to cast your voice in vote. Stories can be submitted to [email protected].

Mind's Eye: A Sensory Guide to the Guggenheim New York
The Mind's Eye is an audio guide of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City designed for the blind and low-vision community. This guide is a compilation of what the museum calls "quintessential New York voices" describing the stunning architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic building. Each of the 10 tracks in the guide describes a sensory aspect of the museum; for example, actor Maggie Gyllenhaal describes touching the thick, pitted paint layers coating the museum walls.
