Join us for open discussions on topics related to life as a blind or visually impaired person, spending 15 minutes on each topic. Please keep your answers brief so everyone gets a chance to contribute.

Come and enjoy easy chair yoga with modifications. We will be doing poses either in the chair or wherever you need to modify.

Get ready for another cooking adventure. This time: Orange Chicken Panda Express Copycat. If cooking along, you will need the following: 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces, 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, 1 tablespoon orange zest, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup rice vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 cloves garlic, minced,1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional), 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, 2 green onions, thinly sliced. 1 mixing bowl, 1 skillet or frying pan. I take requests for future recipes or if you want to present a cooking demo.

1 pm: ACB Government Employees Open Chat

This call is open to current and former local, state, and federal government employees and contractors who are concerned about their status or looking for resources to assist them with next steps, related to the current administration's nonstop flurry of activity concerning the federal government. Families and friends of this group are also welcome. 
To encourage the sharing of thoughts, views, and concerns of the participants, only first names will be used and the call will not be podcasted.

3 pm: DC Leadership Orientation for Virtual Attendees

If you have never participated in the DC Leadership Conference previously, whether in person or virtually, and if you are registered for this year's event as a virtual attendee, this event's for you. We will go through the programs, what will be held on Zoom and what may not, and how or what you can expect to hear on ACB Media.

Join us for day two of the Braille Biathlon: Winter Olympics Edition. We will have easy rounds, tricky rounds, and team rounds, so whether you’re newer to braille or a total pro, everyone can play.
