Get ready for another cooking adventure. This time: Quiche and Cornbread with guest Sharon. If cooking along, you will need the following (for the Quiche): one unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie crust, aluminum foil and pie weight such as dried beans or dried rice for baking. Custard filling ingredients: 4 Eggs,1 and 1/3 Cups Half and Half. You can substitute with whole milk. Don’t use skim milk. Salt and fresh pepper to taste. Filling ingredients: 8 strips bacon or cubed ham,1 and 1/3 Cups Shredded cheese. Fresh or dried chives to garnish. If making a second quiche, substitute bacon for spinach. Second quiche filling: 1 1/3 cup chopped and cooked spinach, dried thoroughly. One and 1/3 cup cubed smoked Gouda cheese.

Is it handmade or a family heirloom, big or small, made of paper or tin, shiny or sparkly, and does it light up or play music? The lights and garland are already in place. We just need the ornaments and to plug the lights in. And you’ll want to be there to learn who is chosen to place the star atop the tree!

Every year the Florida Council of the Blind presents resolutions at its convention. Every year the American Council of the Blind does the same. Over the past few years, however, the way that resolutions are handled has changed for both groups. This call will explore how resolutions happen and how you can be involved if you wish. It will do more than that, though. It will also look at what a resolution looks like and we will write one together while we're on the call! Paul Edwards Will Be Presenting.
