CORRECTION
Due to an editing error, the word "convention" was left out of a sentence in "ACB's Life Membership Roll Grows to 100" (October 1998). The sentence should have read, "Arnold Auch, who incidentally has been a pillar of strength and leadership in ACB's South Dakota affiliate for over half a century, was presented with his life membership plaque at the Saturday banquet at the annual convention of the South Dakota Association of the Blind held at Pierre, S.D. on September 6, 1997."
The American Council of the Blind strives to increase the independence, security, equality of opportunity, and to improve quality of life for all blind and visually impaired people.
