At the opening session of the 57 annual Conference and Convention, ACB presented Sharon Lovering with an award for her 25 years of service to the organization.
“Sharon is a dedicated, hardworking, passionate employee who has made outstanding contributions to the American Council of the Blind. We are grateful for Sharon’s work proofreading materials, assisting with membership certification, editing The ACB E-Forum and the ACB Braille Forum, managing the Communications Center at conferences, and many more duties,” said Eric Bridges, ACB Executive Director. “Sharon is always willing to help when and where needed, ensuring ACB tasks are completed with the utmost attention to detail."
Since joining the organization in 1993, Sharon has experienced office relocations, technology advances and organizational leadership changes, but her passion and dedication to the American Council of the Blind has remained.
Thank you Sharon, for everything you do, helping ACB ensure all Americans who are blind or visually impaired have a brighter future.
