Blind Pride International presents three sessions on healthy living during the 2016 ACB Conference and Convention in Minneapolis.
1. Yoga ABC's - New to yoga? Learn the fundamentals of yoga to get started on your personal path. Jessica Rosenberg from Yoga Center Minneapolis will cover the basics of yoga poses and breathwork. She will also provide insight into the various forms of yoga. A fun and interactive introduction to the ABCs of several respected yoga traditions.

2. Breathing for Healing - Did you know that you may be breathing at only 50 percent of your capacity? Stop holding your breath during tough times! Learn how to heal physical and emotional ailments through breathing. Sue Arnold, Certified Breathing Therapist from the Penny George Institute, will introduce us to a modern-day twist on ancient breathing practices as a tool to decrease stress and increase energy, focus and health.
When - Wednesday, July 6, 1:15 to 2:30 PM
3. Nutritional therapy - Explore some of the benefits of a proper diet, including boosted energy levels, increased focus and concentration, weight loss and management, decrease in many symptoms of illness, better relationship with food, and enhanced personal well-being. A certified nutritionist from Tailor Made Nutrition will guide us in learning how healthy nutrition is the natural way to a better life. It helps your body fight disease and illness by supplying the nutrients your body needs.
