Come shine with the American Council of the Blind (ACB) this year by taking part in the ACB Brenda Dillon Memorial Walk.

ACB would like to raise $63,000 for our walk this year. You can help us reach our goal in several ways by:

Proceeds from the walk will help support ACB's vision and our state and special interest affiliates who have a team fundraising page.  

On Sunday, July 7th members will gather at the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville Florida to walk along the St. John’s River walk leading into the opening session of ACB’s business meeting and you can be with us either in person or virtually.

State and special interest affiliates can participate in the walk by creating a team and a portion of the donations made to your team will be given back to the designated affiliate.  You will not need to create individual pages like you did in the past.

Here is how the affiliates can participate.  The affiliate team captain should create their team page by activating the “Create my own fundraising page” link on the walk site. After activating the “Create my own fundraising page” link, a pop up will appear. Navigate through the pop up using the tab key and then enter the requested information.  In the field labeled “name”, please write in the team’s name. 

Once the team has been created, a donation to the team will need to be made so the team will be listed in the Top Fundraiser tab on the walk site.

Once a team page has been established, individuals can then participate in the walk by donating to a specific walk team.  This can be done by clicking on the top fundraisers tab on the walk site, then click on the link to the team they would like to donate to, and it will take you to the donation form for you to complete.
