232 Two Trees of Life
Donated by Gigi Beatty
Opening Bid $25
This palpable artwork which I’ve titled, “Tree of Life” is constructed of an 8-inch natural wooden embroidery circle which holds two twisted metal trees. The trunk is twisted, as in nature, as are the branches and roots. they wrap around the wooden hoop as if growing from it. It comes with a story. From one of the branches hangs a realistic-looking swing which may or not be "broken.” This is a 3-D piece which can be appreciated through touch, front and back. When hanging on a wall, since there is no backing, the wall behind it will be seen. It can lean against a wall or on a table, placed on a mantle, displayed near a plant arrangement, on an easel or hung from a hook as a wreath as well. If you have a photo wall, or just want an interesting conversation piece, this object d’art will attractively fill either request. The value of this piece is $50.00 which includes shipping.
