Are you a member of a State Rehabilitation Council? Would you be interested in serving on the State Rehabilitation Council in your state? Would you like to learn more about what state rehabilitation councils do? If so, the ACB Rehabilitation Issues Task Force would like to hear from you. The task force is considering holding a series of conference calls in order to provide a forum for members of state rehabilitation councils, or similar groups, to share ideas, exchange information, and discuss concerns about what's happening in rehabilitation agencies around the country. If you would be interested in participating in these calls, please contact me in the ACB national office with the following information: your name, phone number, e-mail address if any, and the name of the State Rehabilitation Council you serve on or are interested in serving on. The first call will take place early in 2011 and will be a planning meeting during which participants will discuss plans for future calls. We look forward to hearing from you.
