The American Council of the Blind annually awards approximately 20 scholarships ranging in amounts from $1,000 to $2,500 to college students (undergraduate, graduate and vocational) who are legally blind, maintain a 3.3 GPA and are involved in their school and/or local community.
Applications may be submitted beginning Jan. 1, and all materials must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on March 1. Scholarship monies will be awarded for the upcoming academic year.
