Founded in 1972, the Utah Council of the Blind (UCB) is an organization of blind and visually impaired people, which exists to benefit the lives of the blind and/or visually impaired of Utah. Our organization provides educational and social activities, a newsletter in five alternative formats, a toll-free phone number for weekly updates of events and activities, transportation programs, braille transcription, reader services, volunteer referrals, and advocacy services.
