5k Insight Walk

October 16, 2010, Tennessee School for the Blind

Jay, the Dean of students for the Tennessee School for the Blind welcomes the walkers while Brenda Dillon and Volunteer Kaylyn Gerth work the door prize tickets. The 5k Insight walk is off to the races. Everyone is off to a great start while B.J. Harris is doing a great job keeping up the pace.

Another small group of walkers are working on their first lap. MTCB members, Philip Hebert, Jill Garvey, Mark Montgomery, and Darlene Gann walk with assistance from the MTSU group of volunteers.

Carol Francisco and her volunteer walker is enjoying the beautiful sunny morning. MTCB newest member Steve Christiansen, walks beside member Patricia Valladares and her volunteer Ann from team “Uncle Sam”. Darlene Gann and her volunteer from the MTSU make it to the turn around on their first lap. Tracy Allen and Steve Christiansen walk behind Mark Montgomery his guide dog Theo and Kelly, a volunteer from Hands on Nashville.
