Born November 1936 at Vanderbilt Hospital. Pam was educated at Peabody Demonstration School in Nashville. She majored in theatre at Emerson College in Boston MA. She taught for 2 years at Kingston Springs. Pam joined the American Overseas Programme in 1962. Her first assignment was Okinawa (Japan), transferred to Germany for 2 years, then 1 year in Turkey. Her next assignment was to England, where she meet BJ. She finished her career after 45 years outside of Tokyo(Japan). Her interests were very varied, she enjoyed cooking, loved to travel and attend classical music, ballet, and live theatre as often as possible. She was very supportive of visually challenged groups where ever she was stationed in the world. She was always ready to support MTCB as much as she could. She and BJ were married for 31 years. Pam is greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life was held at the Unitarian Universalist church. BJ really appreciated all the support given by MTCB members.
