Judge Robertson has ruled in our case against the United States Treasury and, his decision was very much in favor of ACB's position! For the first time, a federal judge has found the United States government to be in violation of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act because of its failure to provide people who are blind with the means of identifying the denomination of paper currency. We want also to publicly thank our attorney, Jeff Lovitky, for his perseverance and hard work on this case. This is a wonderful victory not just for ACB, but for all blind and visually impaired people.
